| O objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar o efeito da época de dessecação da pastagem de inverno sobre a produtividade de grãos de soja e seus componentes do rendimento. O experimento foi realizado em área de integração lavoura-pecuária, em Campo Mourão, PR nos anos agrícolas de 2002 a 2005. Utilizou-se o delineamento de blocos ao acaso com oito repetições. Os tratamentos foram: dessecação 30, 20 10 e 0 dias antes da semeadura (DAS). Foram avaliados: a quantidade de massa de matéria seca da pastagem de inverno, no dia da semeadura; a altura de plantas; o número de plantas por metro; o número de vagens por planta; o número de grãos por vagem; a massa de mil grãos; e a produtividade de grãos. | The objective of this work was to evaluate the genetic diversity of 16 maize inbred lines, and to determine the correlation between genetic distance and hybrid performance, using random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) molecular markers. Twenty-two different random primers were used, which resulted in the amplification of 265 fragments, 237 (84.44%) of them being polymorphic. A genetic similarity matrix was created from the RAPD data, using Jaccard coefficient, and a dendrogram was constructed. | We assessed the effect of different winter crops on indicators of soil quality related to C and N cycling and C fractions in a Rhodic Kandiudult under no-till system at implantation, during two growing seasons, in Londrina PR Brazil. The experimental design was randomized blocks with split-plot in time arrangement, with four replications. The parcels were the winter crops: multicropping of cover crops with black oat (Avena strigosa), hairy vetch (Vicia villosa) and fodder radish (Raphanus sativus); sunflower (Heliantus annuus) intercropped with Urochloa ruziziensis; corn (Zea mays) intercropped with Urochloa; and corn; fodder radish; or wheat (Triticum aestivum) as sole crops. | Os objetivos deste trabalho foram: comparar a produtividade e a adaptação de genótipos de soja convencional e de soja transgênica resistente ao herbicida glifosato, de diferentes grupos de maturação, desenvolvidos pelo programa de melhoramento da Embrapa Soja para o Estado do Paraná; estudar a importância relativa dos efeitos de local, ano, cultivar e suas respectivas interações; e verificar a possibilidade de se estratificar o Estado em regiões mais homogêneas, para reduzir o número de locais nos ensaios de competição de linhagens. | The objective of this work was to establish a calibration equation and to estimate the efficiency of near-infrared reflectance (NIR) spectroscopy for evaluating rapeseed oil content in Southern Brazil. Spectral data from 124 half-sib families were correlated with oil contents determined by the chemical method. The accuracy of the equation was verified by coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.92, error of calibration (SEC) of 0.78, and error of performance (SEP) of 1.22. The oil content of ten genotypes, which were not included in the calibration with NIR, was similar to the one obtained by the standard chemical method. NIR spectroscopy is adequate to differentiate oil content of rapeseed genotypes. |
